Introduction

Welcome to QuoteCache. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the QuoteCache mobile application ("App"). By downloading, installing, or using QuoteCache, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Use of the App

License

QuoteCache grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use QuoteCache only for lawful purposes. You may not:

• Use the App to infringe on intellectual property rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the App
• Use the App to store or distribute illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Interfere with the App's operation or security
• Use the App for commercial purposes without permission

User Content

You retain all ownership rights to the quotes, notes, and other content you save in QuoteCache ("User Content"). QuoteCache does not claim ownership of your User Content.

Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for:

• Ensuring you have the right to save and use quotes (e.g., for personal use, educational purposes, or under fair use)
• Respecting copyright and intellectual property laws
• Backing up your content (the App stores data locally on your device)

We do not monitor User Content and are not responsible for any copyright infringement or misuse.

Subscriptions and Payments

Free Version

QuoteCache offers a free version with a limit of 20 quotes. No payment or account is required.

Premium Subscription

QuoteCache Premium is available via in-app purchase for $1.99/month or $15.99/year. Premium includes:

• Unlimited quotes
• Home screen widget
• Personal notes
• Tags and advanced organization

Billing

Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account. Payment is charged at the end of your 7-day free trial unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial periods.

Refunds

All purchases are final. Refund requests must be made directly to Apple or Google, as they process all payments. QuoteCache cannot issue refunds.

Termination

You may stop using QuoteCache at any time by deleting the App from your device. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

Upon termination, your license to use the App ends immediately. Your local data remains on your device unless you delete the App.

Disclaimers

QuoteCache is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee:

• The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• OCR accuracy (text recognition may contain errors)
• Data backup or recovery (your data is stored locally)
• Compatibility with all devices or OS versions

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuoteCache and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Loss of data stored in the App
• Copyright claims related to User Content
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months (or $0 for free users).

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted in the App and on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
